What Yoga Teaches Us About Death and Dying

Presented by Gael Chiarella Alba, E-RYT 500 | Published on: June 1, 2016

About this Workshop

The ultimate transition brings death itself, but who teaches us how to die? There is strength in the graceful micro movements that transition us from asana to asana, but even greater is the presence of breath and surrender to life changes. The insight can bring new meaning to the application of pratyahara for living and dying. Attendees will learn to speak about dying in ways that empower and address fundamental support for themselves and their students.

Therapeutic components of Gael’s teaching and experience are based on her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Certificate as a Crisis Intervention Suicide Prevention Counselor, not derived from her status as an E-RYT- 500 with Yoga Alliance Registry.
