About This Workshop

Two experienced and inspiring yoga teachers come together to discuss the role of anatomy and biomechanics in yoga. The presenters will discuss how our definition of alignment is evolving, clarify misunderstandings about anatomy, and explore how knowledge of anatomy makes yoga safer for everyone.


About the Presenters

Jules Mitchell, E-RYT 500, YACEP, MS, CMT blends the tradition of yoga with biomechanics to help teachers develop their craft. She contributes to yoga teacher training programs and leads workshops worldwide, balancing the somatic aspects of yoga with the most current exercise science.

Arturo Peal, C-IAYT is a Craniosacral Therapist and holds a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. As the founder of Body Studies, he has spent of 20 years educating yoga teachers across the globe through his classes in anatomy, kinesiology and therapeutic touch.
