Senate Bill 5141, a bipartisan bill to exempt yoga teacher training programs (YTTs) from burdensome regulation by the state’s Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board, is moving quickly through the Washington State Senate. The bill, introduced by Sens. Guy Palumbo and Lynda Wilson, passed through the Senate Higher Education Committee yesterday by a unanimous vote!

Next Steps
After consideration in the Senate Rules Committee in the coming days, the bill will be considered by the full Senate.
