About This Workshop

Classical teachings, such as those found in the Yoga Sutras, outline ways to help students begin a meditation and pranayama practice. Both pranayama and meditation provide a spiritual compass and source of inner peace. How can we better integrate these practices in general yoga classes?


About the Presenters

Jennie Lee is the author of True Yoga: Practicing with the Yoga Sutras for Happiness & Spiritual Fulfillment. She has shared yoga and meditation with students for 17 years.

Marion “Mugs” McConnell is an RYS owner, the author of Letters from the Yoga Masters, and has been teaching pranayama and meditation for 39 years.

Dr. Marc Halpern is a Sivananda-trained yoga teacher, Doctor of Chiropractic, Ayurvedic practitioner, and the author of Healing Your Life: Lessons on the Path of Ayurveda.

Prashant and Manju Joshi are both RYS owners. They have studied with the Vivekananda Kendra and Kaivalyadham lineages since 1984.
