Good News: Colorado Bill to be Considered Tomorrow

February 25, 2015

Senate Bill 186, a bipartisan bill to exempt yoga teacher trainings (YTTs) from burdensome regulation by the Division of Private Occupational Schools (DPOS), has been introduced by Sen. Laura Woods, Rep. Alec Garnett, and Rep. Tim Dore.

Yoga Alliance® has long been a proponent of this important legislation, and strongly supports this initiative by the General Assembly to protect the Colorado yoga community. Thank you to everyone who has attended hearings, organized demonstrations, and written letters. Your support is inspiring and has been instrumental in persuading the legislature to consider this critical bill.
